Myth vs Legend

There are a lot of historic relics that those still look for although they have been said to be legend, but myth has it to be truth!  So which holds more weight Myth or Legend?

Myth

Popular belief or tradition that has grown up around something or someone; especially : one embodying the ideals and institutions of a society or segment of society

Legend

A story coming down from the past; especially : one popularly regarded as historical although not verifiable

Many people believe in these myths, "The Lost City of Atlantis, The Lost City of El Dorado, and many more. Though some find them to be legend, because of the lack of evidence from Archaeologist and Geologist. But, does that mean that the myths are not true? Or does that just mean we haven't found or explored enough to support the legendary myths?

Mythology (disambiguation) itself had to originate from somewhere as well as Legend (disambiguation).

Ideology differs, but take a look at the pyramids in Egypt for example. They where built by a civilization that was thought to be far less advanced in technology, and mentality, but where advanced enough to built with such complexity, on  a grand scale, with no advancement as far as tools and machines. Yet, still left evidence that shows us in modern times, that things that may seem complex to us, may have been far less challenging to those in their time, maybe because they adopted to their environment, using the resources they had, land.

The Trojan's although myth to some, still holds great pride! Not only is it known for the Trojan War it is respected as well as the mascot of one of California's most prestigious Colleges "University of Southern California" known to some as USC, now to say the Trojan war is known as myth, it's holds a lot weight. It's has also held it's immorality over the centuries, continuing to be discussed as well as respected through out time.

So, in conclusion when it comes to which one holds more weight "Myth or Legend".  I guess in the end it all depends on which you choose to believe.

How To Tell True Love

What is True Love?

“When I saw you I fell in love, and you smiled because you knew." Famous Shakespeare love quote from Shakespeare's Hamlet, Act II, Scene II.

Some say "True Love" is " love at first sight," some say "actions speak louder than words," but there are many expressions one can use when trying to express the meaning of " True Love." Some say "True Love" is shown in action and not in words, therefore if that statement is true then the actions of the "Bald Eagle" of the bird species displays the actions of what "True Love" really means.

Bald Eagles are known to symbolize many symbols. Some of the few symbol's the Bald Eagle represents is the  United States as the official emblem, honor, bravery, and protection, but among the many symbols the  Bald Eagles symbolizes Love. When two Bald Eagles join in union, they  take on the role to help each other equally with the duties of the eaglet and the nest. They are also known for being  monogamous and faithful to one another,  known to only  find another mate after one of the two pass away.

Therefore, if the  Bald Eagles actions justify a harmonious unity of monogamy and loyalty from the first time of mating until death do them part, then I believe that is the true meaning as well as actions of the meaning of "True Love."  As shown threw the actions of the Bald Eagle "True Love" is when you are ready to commit, work and be loyal to one person for the rest of you're life "until death you two part threw richer or poorer."

In conclusion we all have a sense of what truly being in love is, but if you want to know how to tell if someone  is you're "True Love" then see if they are willing to be as dedicated, loyal, helpful and committed to you as the Bald Eagle is to it's mate. Then will you be able to tell if it's truly "True Love."
